IC member Chris Olert filed this update on our John Mulligan:
I visited the commissioner on Sunday (9/8/13); he says he’s feeling better than David Frost. He continues physical therapy, but his walking doesn’t match that of his youth, which frustrates him.
John’s mind is sharp as ever; he waxed on history (he was a history teacher in another century); including history of various fires, Washington Irving and the standardization of fire hose hookups, which were born after the Great Baltimore Fire in 1904 when FDNY sent mutual aid, and could not hook NYC equipment to Baltimore hydrants.
He asks about all in Inner Circle.
John covets company, cards, letters and more tropical fish. Since his mail is censored by the CIA, UFOA & FBI, please only send PG-13-rated gifts, cards and blow-up toys….
